Getting there! Don't they look lovely?
Several years ago I started attending silversmithing and jewellery classes. I love repairing people's treasured items that are broken, but my passion is designing with you, jewellery with silver, gold, etc with or without gems!
Getting there! Don't they look lovely?

For those who havent tried it I can only describe it as a handsfree deep massage. Body and soul are now in a state of total calm and tranquility. For anyone who knows me my mind is usually working at 100 miles an hour and concentrating on about 50 things at once.

I don't post all I make and I probably should but I don't want to inundate you with pictures. So out of interest what would you like to see?
Bangles or bracelets?
Engraving or stamping?
Textured or gemstone rings?
Stud or dangly earrings?
Do you have favourite shapes or colours?

Not jewellery related but another love that I have been working on this year....this little bundle will be one year old on 29th March and she has certainly kept me in my toes! Here she is at 8 weeks, 4 months and 11 months. This is Bonnie everyone x
I love stacking but these have got to be my favourites so far. 10 beautiful solid sterling silver bangles five hammered, five super shiny. Then to top it off, some hammered rings to finish this holiday look.
On the work bench today!! I am currently working on engraved rings, an engraved bangle and 10 beautiful shiny bangles... All in different stages of development. Can you see your order?

I still have mother's day slots, so if you think you have left it too late you haven't! Don't forget any orders in March are also put into a prize draw to win up to £30 off any order... This means you could win your order for FREE.
Have many people think that 925 is a hallmark??
Well I'm sorry to say but it isn't. In fact most items stamped 925 are mass produced, foreign imports (less silver), hollow or even plated. Tibetan silver for instance is only 7 parts per thousand, sterling silver is 925 parts per thousand.
In the UK items over 7.78g of silver or 1g gold must be assay office hallmarked by law, or else it must be sold as white or yellow metal.
I try and hallmark everything even underweight items but it does add 2 weeks to delivery.
The picture is of a dealer notice, before you buy jewellery from a shop or a fayre make sure you can see one. All jewellers should have a hallmark and should know the rules. Ask yourself if it really is sterling silver or gold.
Any questions please ask.
Mother's Day is on the 31st March this year. Don't leave it too late to place your orders for handmade, bespoke or personalised items! All orders placed in March will be put into a prize draw to win up to £30 off an order for one lucky person. Person selected at random.
😃 COMPETITION - not in anyway affliated with Facebook.
As there has been considerably interest in my handwriting engraving I have decided to run a little competition.
Anyone who places an order for any engraved item during the month of MARCH will be put into a hat to win their item for free (up to the value of £30). Person will be randomly selected.
I am currently putting together a price list but if you have any questions in the meantime please post below.
WIP - is this of interest to others??
My Grandma died last year after many years with dementia. I recently found a letter from 2011 which was one of the last ones she wrote. I made a 3d mould of her signature and then engraved it onto silver. It still needs a polish and blackening but what do you think?
Today I am stringing these gorgeous grey pearls! What is your task for the day?
Not everyone understands hallmarking or the different between a hallmark and a 925 stamp. In the UK it is against the law to sell silver items over 7.78g (a chain and pendant are individual items if they can be parted without tools) or gold over 1g without an official assay office hallmark. Below is an offical London assay office hallmark mine has SDT rather than LAO.
I do not stamp my underweight work 925 and here is why! 925 stamped work is usually mass produced, imported or silver plated. It is totally unnecessary if you are buying from a jeweller.
If you would like underweight items assay hallmarked I am more than happy to do this. It does take an extra two weeks as I have to send to the assay office.

All you need to do to give me a boost is to share my page, react to my photos, comment or share some of my work. This makes my reach much better, which means I will be seen in news feeds more often. Please also leave a review if I have made you anything.
I appreciate all of you for your support ###
This was a Happy Birthday present for an 85 year old father. The ring was given to him as a young man in his early twenties but the stone fell out. He found it recently so a beautiful Mozambique garnet was found to replace and finish of this lovely ring. Worn again after 60 odd years!
I am now on Instagram too. Anuradesigns.
