The first step to a successful social media strategy is identifying the platforms you SHOULD be on.
What does this mean? You don’t need to be everywhere at first, but you should be where your target audience is. If you like scrolling through Instagram and think you want to make a business account there, it does no good if your target audience isn’t there.
So first, when identifying what social media platforms you should be on, ask yourself “does my target audience or ideal client use this platform regularly?” This will help you get laser-focused on the social media channels that you will invest in.
