How I Do It
To Mac, or to PC; that is the question. I work proficiently on either platform often switching between the two, Mac on the go and PC in the office. Utilizing Adobe's Creative software, I apply my knowledge of composition, design, and color theory to create custom graphics and print ready files. From there I work with vendors to assure your products are produced in a timely and quality manor. Where I Learned It All
From a young age I have been interested in art and recreating the world around me. When ever asked what I wanted to be, an artist has always been my answer. I have spent years honing my skills while studying composition and color theory. I started using image editing software and experimenting with digital illustration during the mid 2000’s teaching my self the basics of the programs. It wasn’t until high school when I took an intro to graphic design class where I realized the potential career path. Deciding formal education was the best route I went off to college, in the spring of 2014, I graduated with my Associates Degree in Graphic Design Technology. I firmly believe you can never stop learning and continually seek to improve my skills and keep up on the latest design technology. Past Experience
After graduating I was hired on at local sign shop where I interned for during college. There I worked with customers taking concepts and following through with design, production, and installation. Projects varied from outdoor/indoor signage, decals, lettering, promotional materials, vehicle graphics and apparel. I was soon tasked with running the apparel department, learning the ins and outs of the direct to garment printing, processing customer orders, preparing designs and running production. When the need arose for larger and a more cost effective runs, I led the way into screen printing. Grateful for the knowledge and experience attained I bid farewell and ventured out into the world of freelance design. Since then I have worked with small business creating logos, promotional materials, and lettering.
