Hello, Southeast Advertiser readers and customers! As we near the end of this incredibly challenging year, we want you to know how much we appreciate your business and readership during the pandemic. We also want you to know that we’re continuing to work hard to make The Southeast Advertiser better in every way... better delivery, better service, and better digital options if you are not able to pick our publication up on the newsstands. We are grateful to you all.
The holiday season is a time of joy and a time for celebrating traditions. It feels like we need them now more than ever. As Christmas draws near, there is great excitement in the air. This is a wonderful time of year that brings out the child in each of us. The love and anticipation that always help us to remember the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Savior. It is a gift to us each year that we are filled with the same energy as those present at Christmas time. If it takes Christmas to remind us of the people whose lives have touched ours, people whom we hold dear in our hearts, then let it be Christmas every day!
As we kick off 2021, I would like to thank you on behalf of our staff. We will be closing the last week in December and the first two weeks in January to celebrate the holidays with our immediate families. As you receive this greeting from our staff, know that YOU reading and advertising in our paper, has meant so much to our staff and our families in a significant way. We are a locally family-owned based publication. Therefore, without you, our devoted readers and customers, our publication would not be possible.
2020 has been a challenging year for all of us yet God has blessed us in so many ways. We have been blessed with the continuing growth of this paper, extended territory, increased distribution and even larger and exciting new projects to take place in 2021. We’ve seen doors opening to new opportunities, as well as, our publication reaching new corners of Tennessee and Southern Kentucky that we have never been exposed to before, and with great response. There is so much we could share about this past year. We've made new friends, whose friendships we look forward to nurturing in the coming year, which brings us to the real spirit of Christmas.
When the tree has come down and the decorations have found their way back into the attic...when the Christmas cards have been boxed up or thrown away, and the last of the holiday leftovers have been devoured... when the gifts received are long forgotten, and the holiday chaos has been replaced with everyday business...it can still be Christmas. You see, Christmas is the celebration of God taking form as a simple man, and through that man, forever changing the world. Our wish for you this holiday season is that Christ, whose birth we now celebrate, will live in you each and every day of the coming year, and through you, change the world. We wish you a happy season filled with joy, and may the coming year be overflowing with all the good things in life. We are grateful for each and every one of you, each and every day. Brightest blessings, grace and peace.
May the magic of the Christmas season fill your home with joy and peace. Take care of yourselves and stay safe. From all of us at The Southeast Advertiser we wish you a Merry Christmas and safe and Happy Holiday Season with hope for a better year ahead.
