How do you leverage the holidays to leverage your business goals?

Our Client Dr. Tahir of Cool Braces wanted to give back to his patients and boost his reach and engagement on social media.

So we suggested "The Great Turkey Givaway" for the price of a few turkeys we launched a 7 day gratitude challenge.
Each day we select a winner for a Thanksgiving turkey.
(We chose whole foods, $35-16 lb turkey. But there are many options.)

There is lots of psychology behind the idea of why a gratitude challenge is a great way to post content including an organic opportunity for people to give testimonials to your business.

Results? So far, in just two days his engagement is already up over 1000 percent. By hosting the contest directly on his timeline this will help boost his Facebook edge rank.

Benefits of this type of campaign:
1. A solid reason you can email out to your list daily with out them getting annoyed.

2. Opportunity to share personality and build relationship by sharing something personal in each post.

3. Chance to showcase and collect testimonials

4. Increase Facbook Edge Rank- this is long term value to getting more reach with out paying for boosted posts.

5. Overall Hagh Value- Low cost prizes (You aren't giving away a turkey, you are giving someone the opportunity to spend less time stressing about cooking a bird.. and more time with their family!

What is your USP?

Most people have heard of the importance of needing a "USP" or Unique Selling Proposition.

Some of the best USP's come from finding a solution for your clients. For Example:

Most people don't know before we were the Marketing Team we got our start in business making wedding films back in 2009.

In weddings there is typically a pretty long lead time from sales to delivery. (People book their videographers a year out) Those that are more last minute typically didn't have the budget needed for our services.

As a new company facing this price resistance
we decided to launch a video gift registry!
Once clients put down a non-refundable deposit, we would provide a custom wedding webpage where guests could donate directly to their wedding video. This became our first USP.
