Kinetic Sculptures at the Dallas Arboretum

The Kinetic Art of Lyman Whitaker, spectacular hand-crafted wind sculptures are at the Dallas Arboretum! Whitaker is the most recognized creator of kinetic art, and his copper wind spinners will be mesmerizing juxtaposed with the beautiful gardens.

Each piece of artwork, driven by the wind, is organic in nature and dependent upon its natural surroundings to provide their movement. The sculptures range in height from 5 to 27 feet tall and will be arranged in groupings throughout the garden for viewing. Whitaker says, “The garden is a perfect venue for my pieces. Since they are derived from plant forms, they feel at home among plants.”

This Modern Pool was designed by Brett at Artesian Pools in San Antonio, Texas. This is not just an amazing lap pool with a tanning shelf. It has a cabana that stands as an art piece at the end of this long water feature.
