More safety vests on tap for today.

The piece of equipment with the bright lights is called a flash cure and it dries the ink to the touch so that we can print another layer of ink on top of it, similar to how you need to allow primer to dry before painting over top of it. In this case we used it to help minimize the potential mess caused by printing ink through the open holes in the mesh safety vest.

Ask us about our discharge inks! The ink actually removes - or “discharges” - the dye from the cotton and replaces it with your custom ink color, resulting in a super soft print and vibrant colors. It’s also a cool process to watch because the inks only start discharging under high heat, so the print can look almost nonexistent until it comes out the other end of the dryer.
