The coronavirus has disrupted so many daily routines. Even the simple act of handing someone a house brochure can give pause. AlphaGraphics Loudoun recently helped Scott Petersen of Pearson Smith Realty overcome that particular challenge on a recent listing. We converted his flyer into a flipbook and put a QR Code on the flyer so people who did not want to pick it up could scan the code and download all the information to their phone.

The coronavirus has postponed and cancelled too many important events, including the celebration of our 2020 graduates. AlphaGraphics Loudoun was happy to design and print this lawn sign for a local Stone Bridge senior. We want to congratulate all the seniors in Loudoun County for their hard work and wish them all the best as they take the next step on their journey—wherever that leads. AlphaGraphics has designs appropriate to all the local schools, both private and public, so give us a call if you want to recognize your grad!

Jeff Davis, owner of Phenix Salon Suites, wanted to be prepared when his 20 salons were given the green light to reopen. So he contacted AlphaGraphics Loudoun to design and print signage to remind people of the “new norm” at his various locations. The graphics design team created new graphics for his windows and for free-standing signs. We are delighted to help businesses like Jeff’s reopen while keeping employees and clients safe.

The world is grappling with an issue of enormous scale and impact, and our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).

At AlphaGraphics Loudoun, we believe it is our responsibility during this time to prioritize two things: the health and well-being of our customers and of our employees. Through that lens, we will continue to make decisions informed by the latest science-based information and guided by our mission and values.

I wanted to personally reach out to you and provide an update on the actions we are taking to help prevent the spread of the virus. First, we have started cleaning much more frequently. We have also asked all our employees to refrain from making physical contact with our clients.

We appreciate your understanding that, as a customer, your AlphaGraphics experience may look and feel a bit different as we navigate through this time together. While we are
currently maintaining regular operations here in the Leesburg office, it is possible that we will ask our employees to work from the safety and security of their home offices so they can continue to provide uninterrupted support during this time. Our owners will continue to operate out of the office so we can fulfill any requests that cannot be handled remotely. For your safety, we encourage clients to call in or email requirements, and we remind you that we offer free pickups and deliveries in Loudoun County, which should also help minimize your exposure to COVID-19.

At AlphaGraphics Loudoun, we are committed to providing the same level of quality and service you have come to expect from us, and we expect any disruption to be temporary.

Thank you for being a loyal customer. We are privileged to serve you and your business and
look forward to seeing you again soon.

Regards,

Cyndi & Joe Urbano

Our latest Job of the Week is for a new client and start-up, John Paul Design Build. Our designers and marketing strategists have been hard at work creating a new web presence and print collateral for the new renovation and construction company. John Bennedetto and Paul Mooney urgently needed a PowerPoint presentation for a prospective client. With all hands on deck, our wonderful designers collaborated to put together some amazing work!

Our #JoboftheWeek celebrates the work of our amazing designers in reimagining the visual identity of the Loudoun School for Advanced Studies. We gave LSAS a clean, sophisticated look that unified a wide range of products: from brochures, postcards, and business cards, to pop-up banners, tablecloths, and pens. We look forward to working with them on more ways to visually represent their school!

Our #JoboftheWeek celebrates the work our team did for Sky Marble and Granite, Inc, who wanted vinyl installed over the windows of their marble showroom. Our team helped them size the art, calculate how the images would fit over multiple windows, and installed the vinyl. The largest pieces were over 8' in height across 4 windows. Now, the side of their building is one giant display piece. Huge thanks to our designer Erin Bennett who made all that math look easy!

This week, our AGL #JoboftheWeek highlights the work our wonderful web designer Corinne Crouch did for our neighbors at Temple Training and their new website. Temple Training was looking for a site that would be extremely user-friendly, both for their users and for them to manage after the site was completed. They didn't want to stray from the design of their old website, so Corinne modeled her design work after their existing aesthetic using WordPress to improve customer care and overall UX. We also created new events and blog pages for the business. Check it out today at templetraining.net!

Our #JoboftheWeek was a grand, two-front effort for David Metzger of Metzger Books.

As David launches his latest work as an author, AGL helped put together the first print editions of Patrick: The Adventures of a Young American Boy. Working together to edit the historical young adult novel, design its layout, and print it locally, our team helped David make his publishing dreams a reality. We also designed and built the website for Metzger Books, their ecommerce page, as well as their marketing strategy!

Huge thanks as always to our wonderful designers Erin Bennett and Corinne Crouch! 😎😎

Check out the new Metzger Book site, and order your copy of Patrick: The Adventures of a Young American Boy for the kids, teachers, and history lovers in your life!

Our #JoboftheWeek is for local real estate guru and lifelong NoVA lover, Danielle Wateridge. We're working with Danielle as she continues serving our area as a veteran Realtor, helping her to embrace her own personal branding. This postcard mailer is our first step on the journey to create a new look and feel for all of the future pieces she has asked us to do, both in print and online. We're excited to work on her website, with lots of new marketing collateral in the works. This new design and layout for her real estate business are templated so that they can be used and reused again on all future house sales. She just quickly swaps the picture and/or text for custom, evergreen marketing content. Thanks, as always, to our amazing designers Erin Bennett and Corinne Crouch for their expert work on this.

AGL's Job of the Week is for a local leader driving IT staffing in professional services, Marathon TS. We built a freshly redesigned site to power their marketing and recruiting efforts.

The new look is more modern, more accessible, and features a more direct user interface to make working with and working for Marathon a cinch. In addition to the redesign, our content team worked hard to refresh all content on the site, redefining their corporate voice and providing more robust resources for users.

Our Job of the Week highlights the great work AGL’s Graphic Designer Erin Bennett did for local small business owner Greg Genter.

Greg needed help recreating his children's piano textbooks and workbooks. We started by joining Greg at The Piano Express studio. Erin gave Greg a crash course on the tools that would help him build his books, like Adobe InDesign. Once she got Greg up and running, he was able to load content into the InDesign templates we created for him. Our staff then took these files, and prepared them for professional printing! Greg gained the skills he needed to build future books, and now has professional templates and finished files to print for years to come!

We have printed over 6 books for Greg and counting!

Our Job of the Week highlights the great work our designers Corinne Crouch and Erin Bennett accomplished for Highlands Mortgage Consultant Tim Kelly. His new website, homebuyerfinance101.com, provides his clients with the forms, resources, tools, and information they need at their fingertips.

“Tim wanted something with a lot of user interaction,” Crouch said. “This site was built purely for users to easily sign up for his seminars/webinars in one place. He had an old site that he built himself that we took content from and enhanced.

“We used a new plugin for this site that mingled with his Calendly account, allowing users to book appointments with him through his site. Figuring out how to implement that plugin was more challenging than usual, but it's a great resource for him.”

StoryBook Treasures is a new non-profit dedicated to promoting literacy for all children. Founded by Loudoun County's Teacher of the Year Denis Corbo, the organization has raised more than $130,000 and shipped more than 15,000 books to children in Florida, Nevada, Alaska, Maryland, and Virginia. When Denise needed to promote her organization at a major event, she came to AlphaGraphics Loudoun. Our designer, Erin Bennett, pulled together an eye-catching display in relatively short order: a backdrop, table skirt, two retractable banners, and a brochure and rack card combined to tell the compelling story fueling Denise's passion. It was an honor to help StoryBook Treasures stand out in a crowd!
