Congratulations to our McCann Worldgroup teams -- McCann New York and MRM Frankfurt -- for the fantastic performance at the 99th Annual #ADC Awards, presented by the The One Club for Creativity! We won a total of 12 awards--1 "Designism," 1 Best In Discipline, 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze.

We won the "Designism" and ”Best In Discipline” awards for “Changing The Game” for Microsoft in the Design For Good-Integrated Campaign category. This campaign, from McCann New York, is for the Xbox Adaptive Controller, which has made gaming more accessible to tens of millions of gamers around the world who have previously been unable to access traditional gaming platforms. “Changing The Game” took home 4 additional Gold awards: 2 in Design For Good, 2 in Innovation and 1 in Innovation-Direct.

MRM Frankfurt won 2 Silver (Craft in Online/Mobile, Innovation) and 1 Bronze (Design For Good-Interactive) for "SIGNS" for the German Youth Association of People with Hearing Loss.

McCann New York won 2 Bronze awards for “Think Inside The Box” for Lockheed Martin, 1 in Experiential Design-Installations and 1 in Digital Experiences-Augmented/Mixed Reality. Our team at McCann Kyiv is celebrating (at home) the unique Ukrainian tradition of Vyshyvanka Day, a recently-created holiday to preserve and popularize folk traditions of creating and wearing embroidered Ukrainian clothes. It does not have any obligatory requirements, except for putting on the "vyshyvanka." The tradition began with University students at Chernivtsi National University in 2006, and has grown in popularity around the world. The holiday falls on the third Thursday in May, and is intended to be celebrated on a day of work.

This project from McCann Tirana for Coca-Cola's distribution operations in Albanaia was created and developed a few weeks after the initial lockdown in Albania. Due to anti-COVID measures from the government, with all the hotels, restaurants anc catering businessed closed down, the agency's Coca-Cola client found itself in a tough position. The company went dark with advertising and committed its budgets to tackling the coronavirus situation directly. This led McCann Tirana to develop and implementing an online shop for the first time ever in Albania for the Coca-Cola bottler and Coca-Cola corporate. Online shops are not popular yet in the Albanian market, and few retailers offer this kind of option, but the pandemic changed this approach. McCann developed the platform and had it running within 7 days of approvalt. Results are very good and will continue to operate even after the emrgency pandemic situation resolves.

The Japan office of our sister agency Momentum Worldwide created a TV commercial for Domino's Pizza Japan to launch their new double-toppings options for any pizza, in response to local demand. The agency, part of McCann Worldgroup Japan, filmed it using a robotic arm & multiple speeds to capture the tastiest angles of the pizza.

McCann Worldgroup has been named Network of the Year at 2020 The Webby Awards. This marks the first time in the network’s history that received this recognition. We won a total of 13 Webby Awards for clients that include Microsoft, L’Oréal, Verizon and the United States Postal Service; for our work with the student-led March For Our Lives; and for MRM’s work for the German Youth Association of People with Hearing Loss. We also won the popular online vote with six “People’s Choice” Webby awards for clients including Mastercard, Microsoft and the USPS.

In addition to the total of 19 awards, McCann Worldgroup received an additional 19 Nominee and 11 Honoree Webby recognitions for clients including Chevrolet, Verizon, L’Oréal, Burger King, Microsoft Xbox, and the New York Lottery. We won across 18 different agencies in 11 countries.
