There have been moments, when I wish I should have said something to express what I was really feeling or even to put a stop to certain things, but words failed me. Have you ever felt like that too?
And then there are those times when you are thinking something but the people around you are saying just the opposite.
Finally going to give a voice to all these thoughts and words in my head. Creating a collection of posters which show the tug of war of our thoughts and what people say to us or do.

Doing the happy dance --- Got a spotlight feature for my 92Y 140 year logo in 'Contxt', Ringling College of Art and Design's magazine. Humbled, honored and proud to be a Ringling graduate.
presenting #92StreetY #92Y 140 year logo that I had the honor to design.
The original logo (92|Y) was designed by the legendary Mr. Michael Bierut of Pentagram, New York. To work on a piece of art designed by him is a double honor. My addition to the existing logo is 140 years part.
The word 'years' is handwritten. I must have made over a 100 variations/options for this logo. This was one super fun project. :)

New York, New York
You are a mystery!
You are an enigma!
Your streets are filled with hope
yet at every turn you make me doubt myself.
Like the silent bricks of your buildings
my heart grows stronger each day
only to be broken into a million pieces ohh so often.
Your embrace makes me glow but I wonder
if it’s the shimmer of my hidden bruises that you are caressing?
New York you are an addiction!
Or should I call this an obsession of a jilted lover?
Cloaked in the delicate veil of mysteries,
I can still catch a glimpse of your pain.
And when I ask you, “Are you alright?”
You turn around
— blink
— a shy smile lights up your face
— and you say
“Life has just begun my darling.
There is no time for tears.
Have faith in yourself — and me!
For Faith and Hope is all you need
to make your dreams come true.

The inspiration for A Conversation with New York....
Living in the New York City area these past few years has been a super charged emotional roller coaster ride. I feel this city brings out the very best or the very worst in a person. Each day here is almost like a conscious meditation session as you discover the meaning of life, really get to understand yourself and others, your purpose in life and all that jazz. Wonder if this is the path to attaining Nirvana?
This poem stems from moments of absolute ecstasy to heartbreaks one never knows how to cope with. It is about those days when you couldn’t wait for the sun to rise and then also those when you wondered if the sun will ever rise again. It is a heart to heart conversation with this enchanting city, which for me is as real as you and I.

My business cards have won the Design and Design Award of 11/08/2013. That means on August 11, 2013 my cards will be the design of the day to be featured on their website. This is the second time I get featured here. :)
The second good news is that my design will be published in their
Book of the Year Volume Six to be release in December 2013!
Now this is one office I can so be creative in :)
