ATTENTION COMMUNICATION SPECIALISTS/ CREATIVE WRITERS OF THE WORLD!

As far as start-ups go, Billaway is growing at a rapid pace and needs a young creative professional to join the team.

This isn't your standard copy writing gig or social media manager position. The lucky candidate will need to be able to join the team as an 'all rounder'. We cannot stress this enough. If you consider yourself a one-task-Tammy kind of person, this isn't the role for you. We need someone who can take on multiple tasks and we never want to hear "well that's not MY job".

We need a go-getter who can take self-initiative to better promote Billaway to the world so they too can see how awesome we are. AND trust us...WE. ARE. AWESOME!

You will be working with a small team, based in cool New York City office reporting to the Head of Communications.

So, if you are (or you know someone) who likes doing something new everyday and not knowing where next week can take you then check the list below, and if you want to change the world with us please send us your LinkedIn profile and a short writing sample about a little boy who finds a $100 bill on the floor in a crowded store. Let your imagination go wild!

Note: Billaway are willing to consider international candidates who require sponsored working visas.

Job Requirements:

• 3-4 years writing experience with a focus on marketing / or examples of past writing so we can check out your work. If not professionally published, please send non-fiction content only. This is for a business so we want to see your ability to use business-oriented language. Feel free to get creative and draw up a 'fake' review if you need.

• Experience in producing infographics.

• Capabilities to thoroughly research various topics online and provide detailed feedback to managers on what is being said and where. E.g.: Find an article discussing up and coming technology products and report back on why this would be relevant to involve Billaway into the conversation, suggesting to Communications Director.

• Capabilities to read data (graphs, percentages, dollar amounts) and translate this to meaning then write about it in story form.

• An interest in the tech industry, mobile telecommunications, start-up world. What do you like about it? Have you previously worked in these fields?

• Knowledge across all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest)

• Ability to have a flexible schedule. We are not 9-5- we work a lot and we have a lot of fun doing it.

• Ok with dogs. We have a company dog who's name is Charlie. She is kind and hungry. If not ok with dogs, please still apply -we will keep her on the other side of the office :)

• Above all, we need a self-starter. If you need to be told what to do all the time, this is not for you. If you are a sponge for information and want to be part of helping millions of people who actually need it, send us a note.
