BLK BOX BLKBOX is a boutique creative agency. We provide innovative solutions for brands looking for radical growth. After a decade of success in large enterprises, working on some of the world's most iconic brands, we developed a deep love for business models, consumers and brand marketing in its purest form.

At the same time, we craved fast innovation, agility and the authenticity we recognized in the startup world. Most importantly we had a desire for change and a passion for growth. We knew we could build an organization with a mission to transform the world of marketing. The challenge—and interestingly, the opportunity—rested in the different languages and the divergent objectives between the startup and enterprise communities. Start-ups are commonly focused on driving their individual IP while Enterprises are busy applying historical templates to the "fire of the day." To shift the paradigm, we built a bilingual company that invites startups and enterprises to the same table, fostering something that rarely exists in our world: authentic diverse thinking applied to real-world marketing challenges. There is a palpable tension that exists in a room full of different perspectives. Last week, Keenan joined a Mediapost panel in Washington, D.C. on how ridiculous agency-client relationships have become. Here's snapshot: "The issue with creativity is that it's all too subjective. It becomes a pissing match. There needs to be something that anchors the discussion, which is measurable data and actual results. I hate the term AOR. Agency of Record? What does that mean? We have to be an Agency of Return. To do that, you have to be able to measure everything you do and prove that what you're doing works."
