A London couple's cat got so needy and clingy when they both started working from home that they made a fake human lap to keep her out of their way so they could work. It's Christmas in February! Because I procrastinate my own self-promotion! But no more: Here's another fave from 2019 - the event poster for Historic Port Norfolk's holiday home tour. I'd done a poster for this event in the past with a vintage, historic look and feel, but this time the client requested to switch it up to "something brighter and colorful" for a change of pace. I'd say it's bright and colorful.

Another favorite project from last year: I'm in love with this Community Impact Report for Eggleston Services. I worked with Mary McChesney Toohey to turn endless lists of numbers into visuals that convey Eggleston's many accomplishments in the community in a much more engaging and fun way than the spreadsheets we started with. No offense to spreadsheets, but...you know...they're spreadsheets.

Browsing the eVA vendor system and its many job codes. "Geese Control" and "Fugitive Escort" services are both listed under Miscellaneous, and they both sound dangerous, but I think I'd rather deal with 10 human fugitives than try to "control" one goose. And "Geese Control" implies more than one. The person who succeeds in this category fears neither human, nor beast, nor death itself.

Second Sale Consignments and Estate Liquidations

Busy at work on-site at Second Sale Consignments and Estate Liquidations yesterday making some social graphics and an ad slideshow for them. I wish I could actually work this fast 🤔

We have the other kid in the house today, our web wizard Danielle, aka hyperRed . She's always been an artist which culminated in an AAS degree in graphic art design at 18, followed by a Social Science degree from UVA and a 17 year career at the Virginian-Pilot. She just stepped out on her own this year to specialize in web design and graphic art design. She's truly a wizard at these things, she's fascinating to watch and she's just about as fast as this time lapse video. She and our daughter Rachel have been instrumental in our social media success, we would not have made it without them. Thanks Danielle hyperRed 🦸‍♀️
