In my opinion, this is the biggest mistake I’ve made thus far in my business career.
It’s led to me being overworked and underpaid
(hint: that’s not good for *anybody*)
The scariest part is that it seemed natural.
In other words, my “default behavior” was to make this mistake.
That mistake was being a generalist.
I was trying to serve everybody, and as a result, I served nobody
(nobody *well* at least)
Finally, I realized what was happening and made a shift.
We began focusing on solely working with clients in real estate.
And so all of our resources can be dedicated to creating the worlds greatest service for real estate agents and brokers
That creates far more value for our clients, which makes them far happier.
If you want to create the maximum amount of value you can, focus on solving one specific problem for one specific person. Let everything else go!
Don’t make this mistake.
Focus on one thing.
Be a specialist.
