II corinthians 4:18 “for the things which are seen are temporary
But the things which are not seen are eternal”
I have this scripture tattooed on my arm as a reminder..
Our inner beauty is truly what matters, but it cannot be seen. It can only be felt. Outer beauty is relative to the person doing the seeing. It changes throughout time. Our physical bodies will carry us through this lifetime on earth and they will grow and sag and wrinkle and change. Always. Because the only true beauty comes from the inside.. that is what we should focus our eyes on. Feel the things which can’t be seen. learn to love the vessel and body that carries your soul and lets you experience life as a human. But know that it is the soul that emanates your truest form and your truest beauty. #Yoga is teaching me to feel, honor, and love my body.. after years of hating and abusing it. #yoga is teaching me the value of connecting mind, body, and spirit rather than placing an emphasis on one over the others. Leaving separation behind and coming back into connection, acceptance, and love 💞🙏🏽 thank you, body, for allowing me to have both human and spiritual experiences simultaneously 🔺
